On the coast of the state of Paraná, 24 km from the city of Paranaguá, lies Ilha do Mel (Honey Island), with beautiful beaches that can be visited year-round and are framed by the Atlantic Rainforest, the best-preserved in the country.

Vehicle entry is not allowed in the area, and there are various sandy streets and trails, perfect for long walks. The island also offers a good infrastructure with quality restaurants and cozy guesthouses.

The local historical attractions include the Fortress of Our Lady of Pleasures, equipped with cannons from the 18th and 19th centuries, and the Shell Lighthouse, which offers a panoramic view of the region.
